The team was acknowledged by their opponents for the professionalism add respect of the coaching staff and players. In the Playoff rounds the team defeated North Shore winter club 5-3 setting up a Gold medal game against Squamish Eagles. Prior to the start of the Gold medal game there was a ceremonial face off in which Mike Lago dropped the puck in Memory of his son Scotty Lago whom 4 years ago lost his life in a tragic car accident, leaving behind his girlfriend and 2 young children. Attention new and returning officials,

Officiating clinics have now been posted on eHockey!
Be sure to sign-up to the appropriate clinic to your level as soon as possible, spots fill up quickly!

BC Hockey hosts Super Clinics all across the lower mainland. The closest location to attend such Super Clinic is in Abbotsford, hosted at the UFV Campus.
All RETURNING officials ranging in all levels must attend a Super Clinic.

You are to attend a first-time official clinic, hosted within an MHA.
Keep an eye on eHockey for posted Level 1 First Time Clinics posted; do NOT attend a returning official clinic.

Mission Minor Hockey will NOT be hosting a Level 1 HCOP Clinic this season! If you’re a first time official, you must attend a clinic outside of Mission. Any MHA’s clinic is acceptable.

If you’re over the age of 18, you must ensure that your criminal record check is valid and up to date.

If you have any questions regarding signing up for a clinic, your referee level, or anything at all, contact our Referee in Chief, Owen Harvey.

Attention future referees!

Hockey Canada & BC Hockey have published their Hockey University Online Modules Course on eHockey!
This certification is for all NEW Level 1 and 2 Officials. All NEW Officials are required to complete the Hockey University “Officiating 1/2” eLearning course in its entirety prior to registering for an HCOP face to face clinic.

It is estimated that the Hockey University course will take approximately three hours to complete. This course will cost $25.20 including tax – MMHA covers this cost if you’re registered for the next hockey season!

A link to access this clinic can be found here:

If you have any further questions regarding signing up for a referee clinic, please contact Owen, our Referee in Chief:
