Attention new and returning officials,

Officiating clinics have now been posted on eHockey!
Be sure to sign-up to the appropriate clinic to your level as soon as possible, spots fill up quickly!

RETURNING OFFICIALS
BC Hockey hosts Super Clinics all across the lower mainland. The closest location to attend such Super Clinic is in Abbotsford, hosted at the UFV Campus.
All RETURNING officials ranging in all levels must attend a Super Clinic.

NEW OFFICIALS
You are to attend a first-time official clinic, hosted within an MHA.
Keep an eye on eHockey for posted Level 1 First Time Clinics posted; do NOT attend a returning official clinic.

Mission Minor Hockey will NOT be hosting a Level 1 HCOP Clinic this season! If you’re a first time official, you must attend a clinic outside of Mission. Any MHA’s clinic is acceptable.

If you’re over the age of 18, you must ensure that your criminal record check is valid and up to date.

If you have any questions regarding signing up for a clinic, your referee level, or anything at all, contact our Referee in Chief, Owen Harvey.

It is estimated that the Hockey University course will take approximately three hours to complete. This course will cost $25.20 including tax – MMHA covers this cost if you’re registered for the next hockey season!

Mission Minor Hockey has put in some new website additions!
Within this new update, we have added in an Officiating tab; here you’ll find all the information you’ll need in order to become a referee, and how to re-certify yourself if you’re a returning official!

Coaches and Managers: we have created an Official Sign-In Sheet for you and your team to use at all Exhibition, League, Tournament and Playoff game. This will allow your team to keep track of payments towards officials easily.

For the next hockey season, MMHA Officiating will be bringing in a new development team that will be working hard with our newer officials on their progression; confidence, courage, commitment.
MMHA strives to heavily focus on the development of younger, brand new officials, along with the more experienced referees seeking additional knowledge and skills to become successful officials.

If you have any questions regarding officiating for the next hockey season, please feel free to bring in any questions you may have to our Referee in Chief, Owe Harvey: owenharvey02@gmail.com
